At Blood Hound Home, we are committed to transparency and responsible business practices. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued. By placing a deposit, making a payment, or purchasing a puppy from us, you agree to this Refund Policy in full.
1. Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
A deposit secures a specific puppy or a place on our waiting list.
Deposits will not be refunded in cases where the buyer changes their mind, experiences personal or financial issues, or is no longer able to proceed with the purchase.
2. Purchase Payments
Full payment must be completed before the puppy is released.
Once full payment is made, refunds are governed strictly by the conditions outlined in this policy.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
a. Puppy Unavailability
If a puppy becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances (serious illness, injury, or death) before transfer, the buyer will be offered:
A full refund, or
The option to transfer the payment to another available puppy or a future litter.
b. Seller-Initiated Cancellation
If Blood Hound Home cancels the sale for any reason prior to delivery or pickup, a full refund will be issued.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
Buyer changes their mind after payment or deposit.
Buyer fails to complete pickup or delivery arrangements on time.
Allergies, landlord restrictions, family objections, or lifestyle changes.
Failure to provide proper care after the puppy leaves our custody.
Stress-related illnesses or conditions occurring after transfer.
5. Health-Related Refunds
All puppies are vet-checked and healthy at the time of sale.
Buyers are strongly advised to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.
Health-related refunds or replacements, if applicable, are subject to the Health Guarantee Agreement (if provided separately).
Veterinary expenses are not refundable.
6. Transportation & Delivery
Once a puppy has been released to the buyer or a third-party transporter, no refunds will be issued.
Blood Hound Home is not responsible for delays, stress, or incidents caused during transportation.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
Any transaction or processing fees charged by third parties may be deducted from the refund amount.
8. No Chargebacks
Buyers agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting Blood Hound Home.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in permanent refusal of future services and possible legal action.
9. Policy Changes
Blood Hound Home reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
